COMEDY FOR MENTAL HEALTH WELLNESS
This two week day camp is a fun opportunity for teens to learn all the elements necessary to produce and perform in their own original sketch comedy show.

Students will be encouraged to explore developing their own comedic voice and learn valuable skills writing as a team.
GRADES 8 -12

The camp is led by PERRY founder David Edward Perry. Honed experience comes from over 10 years of performing and writing sketch comedy . He is an adjunct teacher of devised theater and comedy at the Alabama School of Fine Arts. Perry leads workshops and lectures on sketch comedy with the Alabama Educational Theatre Association, UAB's ArtPlay and at Jefferson State Community College. He is a featured performer at the L.A. Festival of Sketch Comedy. 2008 NAACP Theater Award nominee for Best Supporting Actor (Ragtime: The Musical)
